Dear friends and family,
As you probably know, dance has been one of the most important things in my life since I could pretty much walk. Since I've come to college, I've chosen to channel my passion for dance to help others by participating in USC's largest student-run philanthropy, Dance Marathon.
I am currently in my senior year of college at USC (I know, I know, it's really weird to me too), and am now serving as the Overall Director of USC's Dance Marathon.
Dance Marathon consists of a year's worth of campus and community events that culminate in a 24-hour no-sleep dance marathon, which will be held on February 19-20, 2010. The event aims to raise emotional and financial support for Palmetto Health Children's Hospital, located here in Columbia.
The hospital serves over 82,000 children throughout the state- the equivalent of filling all of Williams Brice football stadium and then providing quality treatment for every individual there.
I hope you will consider supporting my participation in the University of South Carolina Dance Marathon. Any contribution will help, and all donations are 100% tax deductible.
