This year, I am participating in the 15th year of Dance Marathon at Bowling Green State University. By participating, I am dedicating myself to raise funds to support St. Vincent Mercy Children’s Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. All of the money raised by BGSU’s Dance Marathon goes directly to the hospital and helps aid them in sending children to therapy camps, purchasing general medical supplies and equipment, hospital, and purchasing toys for the toy room, among many other wonderful things.
This is my third year participating in Dance Marathon and I couldn't imagine not participating in the event! This year we have 11 Miracle families and will get a chance to meet and hear their stories! This year I am a Morale Captain and will be teaching a 15 min. line dance over the 32 hrs, along with moraling all of the participants!The Morale Captains and many others have been working since September to help prepare and raise money for the event!
