My 2 year-old daughter, Emma has Down syndrome & was diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukemia on July 31, 2012 & began chemotherapy the next day. I’m so excited & thankful for this event! Emma's Wish is a benefit concert to raise awareness & provide funding to improve the cognitive and communicative ability of individuals with Down syndrome. Thanks to Miss Outstanding Teen, Tayler Plunkett & her mother, Tammy Plunkett this night has become possible. There will be a variety of entertainment including vocals, dance & instrumentals performed by local talent including Miss Tri-Cities Halle Goodwin, Miss Outstanding Teen Tayler Plunkett, & Miss WA Outstanding Teen Janae Calaway. Also, we plan to hold a silent auction and sell refreshments. Proceeds will go to Anna's Angels Foundation who partner with Duke University Medical Center & Children's Hospital. All proceeds will be donated in honor of Emma Jo McLaughlin-Coomes.

Between the benefit concert and donations from this website our goal is to raise $20,000. In the past 7 years Anna's Angels Foundation has raised over $845,000. Their goal is to raise $1 million by the end of 2012….lets help make that happen! Feel free to tell your friends, family, co-workers and colleagues about this event so they can attend. Lets come together as a community to raise money for an amazing cause all while having a fun, enjoyable evening.

As of today, Emma is in remission and is receiving treatment at Sacred Heart Children's Hospital in Spokane, Washington. Thank you for your donations and continued love, support and prayers. We are grateful!!
