Hello, you generous, amazing person who made it to my page!
Undoubtedly you know the purpose of this page, but before you donate any of your hard-earned money, I want to tell you a little bit about this organization and how I became involved in it.
Dance Marathon was founded in 1991 in honor of Ryan White, and over the past 21 years we have raised over $12 million for the kids at Riley Hospital for Children. All contributions benefit Children's Miracle Network, and 100% of the funds go to Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, a place that is near and dear to many of us in the central Indianapolis area. Any contribution at all would help, and all donations are tax deductible. This year's event is in only 1 week, and in order to dance at the event, I need to raise $350!
As for myself, this is my first year ever participating in a dance marathon, and I'm equally excited and nervous. Standing for 18 hours sounds like an incredible challenge, but the thought of helping out so many children who deserve a second (or third, or fourth, or fifth) chance makes that task seem a little more bearable.

Your money goes entirely to helping the children at Riley, and helping to save young lives is an unmistakable way to build up that good karma.
