Fundraising Page for Olentangy Liberty Patri-a-thon
April 7, 2012 at Olentangy Liberty High School

Dear Friends,

I hope you will consider supporting my participation in the Olentangy Liberty Patri-a-thon event. The first annual Patri-a-Thon is a 6 hour dance marathon, organized by myself and members of our Service Club, to raise money for the Hematology/Oncology unit at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Located in Columbus, Children’s Hospital and the Miracle Network treat all children regardless of the family’s ability to pay.
Any contribution will help, and all donations are tax deductible.

As you may know I have been volunteering at Children's Hospital for four years now and the Hematology/Oncology patients have always been very important to me. I always tell the story of the girl I met on that floor one of my first days volunteering singing happily as could be behind her "bracelet's for sale" stand. The children I have met there are truly remarkable and their smiles inspire me. Since that day I continue to work to someday help save these amazing children. I may not have the skills to do that right now but through Patri-a-Thon I have been given the opportunity to help those who do. So please consider making a donation so that one day that little girl and every other child I've met can go home for good.
