Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

More than 10 million sick and injured kids enter a children’s hospital across North America every year. To provide the best care for kids, children’s hospitals rely on donations and community support, as Medicaid and insurance programs do not fully cover the cost of care.

Children's Miracle Network Hospitals’® mission is to save and improve the lives of local kids and, alongside its various partners and programs, has helped fill funding gaps by raising more than $5 billion since 1983, most of it $1 at a time. 100% of funds raised stay local in the communities they were raised in, helping kids treated at 170 local CMN Hospitals across North America.

Donations help kids like Logan.

Not long after he was born, Logan was diagnosed with Merosin deficient congenital muscular dystrophy. With Logan’s condition, symptoms can vary depending on the individual. That makes him truly one-of-a-kind. It also means his journey is, and will continue to be, tough to navigate. The future is unknown as there is currently no cure for his disease.

Logan continually faces numerous risks associated with his condition including respiratory illnesses, scoliosis, seizures and contractures of the joints. He visits specialists at multiple CMN Hospitals to ensure he receives the best care. Donations to CMN Hospitals programs have helped Logan and his family with transportation costs to travel to and from the hospital.

This determined and focused 9-year-old, loves Star Wars, the Avengers, Pokemon and making people laugh. When he talks about the future, he explains that someday he’d like to be an inventor. Regarding his condition, he says, “I just roll with it.”
