In 2006, Phi Delta Epsilon (PhiDE) Fraternity selected Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) as our international philanthropy. CMNH was chosen because they exist to serve children regardless of a family’s ability to pay. We are also their current and future physicians. All chapters (and colonies) are affiliated with a local children’s hospital, where all of their service and philanthropic efforts directly impact the local community.
Stand For The Kids (SFTK) was started in 2013 as PhiDE’s international day of philanthropy. All chapters around the world stand on this day at the same time, unified, to raise awareness and funds for their local children’s hospital. We stand as a symbolic gesture to honor the dedicated doctors, families, and friends who spend countless hours standing by children in need. This event is mandatory for all chapters, and while each chapter is required to host unique event(s) during SFTK week, we all stand together in solidarity during Power Hour.
