Nutrition, Refeeding, and Stabilization of Health (NRSH)

The UPMC Center for Eating Disorders is one of the nation's few eating disorders treatment programs affiliated with an academic medical center. The partnership with UPMC - a premier health care provider in the United States - helps provide expert care for individuals who are extremely underweight or medically compromised. Children in this program suffer from eating disorders and are extremely underweight or medically compromised. To ensure medical stabilization and begin the process of nutritional restoration, these children are treated at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, ranked by US News & World Report as a top 10 pediatric hospital.
Your donation will help transform the physical space within the hospital where the NRSH program resides. Several quotes have been provided below about the impact your donation will have on this program and space to ensure patients treated at UPMC Children's Hospital can continue to receive the highest quality of care.
