Last year, we raised $43,500 for Children's Miracle Network and want to do even better this year! From our spring philanthropy event, Volley for the Kids, to our premier Derby Days in the fall, we are constantly seeking donations and sponsors to help us reach our goal! The Children's Miracle Network (https://childrensnational.childrensmiraclenetworkhospitals.org/) is an amazing organization and we are so proud of our partnership with them!
Each donation matters!
Every single donation has the potential to go a long way and we thank you for helping CMN and Derby Days succeed!
Derby Days is a weeklong philanthropic event that promotes unity among the Greek community at the University of Maryland, while raising money for Children's Miracle Network, the national philanthropy of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. With the hard work and fundraising efforts of the active brotherhood, alumni and our sorority participants, in addition to our generous sponsors, we have successfully raised $180,000 for Children's Miracle Network since Derby Days' rebirth in 2011.
Children's Miracle Network Hospitals are dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for 170 children's hospitals. Together, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals creates one of the strongest international children's causes in the world and provides state-of-the-art care to all children. No other organization directly impacts as many children through the best care, research, and outreach programs. Locally, Children's Miracle Network funds Children's National Hospital Center of Washington D.C.
This year our goal is $50,000. If accomplished, it will mark the largest single-year donation to Children’s Miracle Network in Sigma Chi’s history here at the University of Maryland. We've expanded our fundraising efforts and want to make an incredible difference for the Children's Miracle Network! We can only make this all possible due to you! Thank you for considering to donate to or participate in Derby Days!
Help us to make Derby Days 2018 the most successful year yet!
