My name is Kelly Mooney, and I happily (with the help of friends and family) put together baskets to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network fundraiser for UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh put together by Mary D’uva.

When my husband, William, told me he was signing up for a fundraiser benefiting UPMC Children’s Hospital, I was eager to reach out to Mary in order to help raise money in honor of our son, Jace Mooney. In 2016, Jace was diagnosed with a rare lung disease called NEHI (Neuroendocrine Hyperplasia of Infancy) 

Jace was born November 27th, 2015 and had quite the stay at UPMC Children’s, where he endured more than I could have ever imagined. Jace’s couple weeks in the NICU made our appreciation for our amazing local hospital out of this world. 

Since Jace’s diagnosis he has had multiple lengthy stays, and UPMC Children’s has been the most amazing place for us. Because of our care from UPMC Children's, Jace has come such a long way and no longer requires 24/7 oxygen and follows up with Pulmonary and Cardiology regularly. We are so more than happy to take the funds we raise through this basket raffle and donate it to UPMC Children's in Jace’s name and honor.

All donations stay local to help kids like Jace. Any contributions whether big or small are so very much appreciated by us, the Mooney family.
