Dear Friends,

      Hello! Its that time of year for our family to help give back to our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. This amazing group of humans stepped in when we were in a desperate time after welcoming our baby girl Amelia at just 28 weeks gestation. After all the heroic efforts the doctors and nurses did to keep her safe in my belly our tiny lady decided she was ready to meet us. She was born a solid 2 pounds and just 13 inches long. She went straight to the NICU after her emergency delivery. As you can imagine our world was turned upside down. Our plate was FULL. We had a kid at home and a kid in the hospital. Everyday we would travel to the hospital to be with Amelia then go home to be with Aubrey. This is when Children's stepped in and so graciously supplied gas cards and meal cards. This was one less thing we had to worry about. It took a huge load off our plates. Not only do they help with little things like food and gas they raise funds to help supply life saving equipment like Isolettes...this is what my baby lived in to keep her alive the first few months of her life. They provided a family room in the NICU with educational information for families, always stocked with snacks, and a place you could escape to catch a break from the sometimes overwhelming reality of your kid being sick in the hospital. We ended up staying in the NICU for 88 days. CMN helped make our time there more bearable. I will forever be greatful for them. Help us show our thanks and support for such a deserving cause!
