Dear Friends,

I hope you will consider supporting my participation in this event. All contributions will benefit my local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Any contribution will help, and all donations are tax-deductible.

For the past 11 years, my family and I have raised money to donate to the Radiothon just to support the efforts of this world-renowned hospital, but on August 30, 2020, my sister and I became patients after being involved in a horrific car accident (see the pictures below). 

We were stopped at a red light and were hit by a guy going 80 mph. I didn't even realize what was happening at first and I thought I was watching a car spin on TikTok. In reality, we were the ones spinning. We flew across the median and ended up on the wrong side of the road. I was the only one who remained conscious. My stepmom, dad, and sister all blacked out at least for a second. I ended up just having a concussion but my dad broke 2 ribs, my sister broke her pelvis, and my stepmom shattered her pelvis, bruised her heart and lungs, and broke 5 ribs on each side. It was pretty bad.

Nevertheless, because of the care we received, we all have made a complete recovery.  We are forever grateful for the nurses, doctors, and medical teams and for the care and compassion we experienced. 

My goal is set for $580. Hope we can reach it!
