Ride of a Life Time benefits Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and Life Time Foundation — two organizations united in the mission to Change Kids' Health to Change The Future. Hosted by Life Time, it is the studio cycling event of the year.
When, Where and Who
The ride takes place the morning of Saturday, April 29th, 2023. Depending on the location, riders are in the saddle for one to four hours. Riders will participate across the country and can ride in Life Time cycle studios as a part of a class or virtually through our event livestream. Life Time members, their guests and members of the broader community are invited to participate in Ride of a Life Time.
Depending on whether a participant will ride in-studio or virtual, registration is either a one or two-step process.
All riders (both in-studio and virtual) must register.
Through the process at www.rideofalifetime.life riders register for the event, create a fundraising page and join a fundraising team.
In-studio riders must reserve a bike.
Riders that wish to ride in-studio must select their class time and reserve their bike. Life Time Members may do this for themselves through the Life Time App. Non-members must purchase a 1 day membership to participate in Ride of a Life Time (fee may vary on club location). The 1 day membership grants the non-member access to..... Additioanlly, Life Time will be donating all proceeds from the 1 day membership fees back to your Club Team page.
As Ride of a Life Time classes will fill, riders (especially non members) are encouraged to reserve their bike as far in advance as possible.
In Studio Experience
The Ride of a Life Time In Studio Experience is Life Time's most high energy studio cycling experience of the year. It will be fun, it will be loud, and it will be inspiring. From a physical perspective, the exertion level will be similar to Life Time's signature classes.
If you are new to Life Time studio cycling, you are in for a treat. We encourage you to review these two articles from Experience Life magazine:
1. You belong: A Rookie's Guide to Health-Club Confidence

The Ride of a Life Time Virtual Experience will be a direct live stream of Ride of a Life Time In Studio. The stream will be hosted through Life Time's video streaming service, accessible via the Life Time app to all Life Time Members, including digital members. Check back here closer to the event when the live stream schedule will be released.
Participants are encouraged to share their mission and story on social media. Participants can link their fundraising page to Facebook and share with their network via Facebook and Instagram. Individual and Team Fundraising
Through registration at www.rideofalifetime.life, each individual creates an individual fundraising page and joins a local Life Time Fundraising Team. Each fundraising team is led by the local Life Time Studio Leader. The fundraising team you choose is important, as it determines which local hospital your fundraising success will benefit.
To make fundraising fun and celebrate success, Life Time is giving fundraisers who reach certain milestones promo codes to redeem rewards through the Ride of a Life Time store:
1. $75: Performance T-Shirt
All incentives will be available by April 1st and email communication will be sent with instrutions for redemption. You must have a fundraising page created in order to be eligiable to redeem the 2023 incentives.
Fee / Fundraising Goal
There is no fee to take part in Ride of a Life Time. Instead, participants raise funds in support of the two beneficiary organizations. Each individual rider has a default personal fundraising goal of $250, and all fundraising success contributes toward their club’s total. There is no fundraising commitment, meaning a participant that does not reach their goal will not be charged any fees.
