Children's Miracle Network Hospitals
Each year, millions of kids require the kind of specialized care that only a children’s hospital can provide. There is a significant funding gap in children’s healthcare across the United States, which is why these hospitals must rely on donations and community support. CMN Hospitals is there helping to raise the critical funds necessary to ensure our member hospitals can provide holistic, best-in-class care for kids and their families.
Children's Miracle Network Hospitals® raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals that support the health of 10 million kids each year across the U.S. and Canada. Donations go to local hospitals to fund critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, along with innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, child life services that put kids’ and families’ minds at ease during difficult hospital stays and financial assistance for families who could not otherwise afford these health services. When we improve the health of all children and allow them the opportunity to reach their full potential, we also improve our communities for years to come. Together, we can change kids’ health. Together, we can change the future. To learn about Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and your local children’s hospital, visit cmnhospitals.org.
Donations help kids like Logan.
At 17 weeks (about 4 months), an ultrasound confirmed that Logan had spina bifida. In addition to being born with spinda bifida she was also born with hydrocephalus, scoliosis, Chiara malformation type 2 and bilateral clubfoot. The day after her birth, Logan transferred to the local children's hospital, where a multi-disciplinary medical team was at-the-ready. Funded by donations raised through Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, these teams met with both of Logan's parents before and after birth to provide comprehensive care all under one roof. Now age six, Logan's thriving.
She loves science experiments, swimming and tried waterskiing at Spina Bifida Camp in the summer. While her daily activities likedance, karate, horseback riding, and t-ball will continue to grow, her family-centered care will remain at one location.
When children are well nourished and take part in safe, fun, enriching physical activity, their minds and bodies can flourish.
Life Time Foundation focuses on sustainable, impactful change in two main areas:
1. Nutrition. We collaborate with school food leaders to help them serve wholesome, nourishing, minimally processed food in schools across the United States. Since 2010, Life Time Foundation has positively impacted over 1.7 million childrens across the country.
2. Movement. We partner with schools and community organizations nationwide to get kids moving - supporting these organizations as they make long-term, sustainable progress toward building healthier futures for the kids they serve. Since the Movement grant program was launched last year, we have impacted 25,586 kids, while encouraging them to fall in love with physical activity.
Since Life Time covers all of our operational costs, every cent of every dollar contributed by you directly supports programs and grant making.
