As you can imagine, philanthropy remains more important than ever and as such, we have a goal of raising $35,000 to donate to the Child Life Department in the NICU and pay it forward to the next parents who will become NICU parents, who will be scared and unsure of what is about to happen, and who will be praying desperately for their child to survive.  And right there with them for every perilous hour will be a NICU team member holding their hands and giving them the strength and courage for the NICU journey.

This year's Wine tasting kit will feature four bottles of wine: 

Imagery Sauvignon Blanc: Delicate bouquets of citrus jump out of the glass. Fresh notes of lemon zest and grapefruit greet upon entry, with a brightness on the mid-palate. We blend our Sauvignon Blanc with 7% Muscat that lends refinement and softness to the finish. 

Imagery Chardonnay: Crisp and elegant, this Chardonnay radiates aromas of apple, lime, and pear. Subtle oak and a touch of Chenin Blanc, boost this wine's brightness and overall liveliness. Balanced flavors of green apple and vanilla, followed by complex layers of fruit and spice lead to an elegant creamy finish. Natural varietal characteristics of Chardonnay shine through without being overshadowed by dominant oak notes.

Imagery Pinot Noir: Balanced and smooth, this Pinot Noir has layered notes of jammy strawberry, cherry, and boysenberry. The fruit flavors are enriched by well integrated oak and blended with 5% Petit Verdot to achieve a substantial body. Our Pinot Noir is rich and complex with soft tannins and a long layered finish.

Imagery Cabernet Sauvignon: Richly expressive; this wine opens with notes of plum and raspberry, followed by flavors of mocha and spice that are joined by supple tannins. This Cabernet Sauvignon is artfully blended with a touch of Lagrein to add a rich mouthful, deeply hued color, and food friendliness.

Ticketing, Shipping and Pick Up Details

Wine Tasting kits can be purchased for shipping or local pick up at the Children’s Center.
The deadline to purchase a kit for shipping is 9 a.m. EST on Tuesday, Feb. 7.
Kits can be picked up from Johns Hopkins Children’s Center on Thursday, Feb. 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. (1800 Orleans Street, Baltimore, MD 21287).

This year's Beer tasting kit will feature four BEERS: 

Cherry Blossom 5.5% Cherry Wheat: The first sign of spring. This wheat ale is fermented with pure dark sweet cherry juice and pureed red tart cherries for an easy-drinking beer with just a hint of sweetness. 

Bmore Hazy: This hazy Double IPA is brewed with flaked wheat and flaked oats for a soft, pillowy mouthful and is copiously dry hopped with Citra and Mosaic for huge tropical fruit flavor and aroma. 8%

 

Social Lager: This crisp and easy drinking golden lager is brewed with the finest quality pilsner and Vienna malts, and is gently hopped with German Hull Melon Hops, then patiently lagered for a smooth finish.

Bmore Breakfast: A rich and chocolaty Oatmeal Stout with light undertones of coffee. 6%

Beer Tasting kits can be purchased for shipping or local pick up at the brewery.

The deadline to purchase a kit for shipping is noon EST on Friday, Feb. 10.
Kits can be picked up from Oliver Brewing Co. on Saturday, Feb.11 from 12 to 4 p.m. (4216 Shannon Drive, Baltimore, MD 21213).

** Please note, each beer and wine tasting kit will need to be shipped individually to ensure everything arrives safely. **
