Dear Friends,

This year, Bears of Love joins Finn’s Fierce Fight to advance cancer research at Children’s National Hospital in honor of Finn Cusick, a 10-year old boy, who was diagnosed with DIPG, a rare and aggressive brain tumor that mostly affects children. Finn and his family are longtime residents of Southern Maryland, and when we learned that there is no treatment or cure for DIPG, we knew we had to spring into action to help Finn and all children who suffer from this terrible disease. 

Funds raised through this event will advance cutting-edge research to help find effective non-invasive therapies such as the liquid biopsy and strive to improve treatment for children with DIPG.
